On September 23, 2022, on the occasion of the first anniversary of the establishment of OPTORUN Semiconductor Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as OPTORUN Semiconductor), a grand groundbreaking ceremony was held for the atomic layer coating and etching equipment project.

The main attendees of this groundbreaking ceremony include Mr. Zhai Lei, Deputy District Mayor of Baoshan District, Shanghai City, Mr. Huang Zhigang, Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Baoshan High tech Industrial Park, Mr. Liu Huibin, Director of the Park, Mr. Song Haijun, Chairman of China Construction Third Bureau One Company, Mr. Lin Weiping, Chairman of Guangchi Japan Group, and Mr. Huang Zhifei, General Manager and Chairman of Guangchi Semiconductor of Guangchi Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd Mr. Yang Decheng, General Manager of Guangchi Semiconductor, as well as the leaders of relevant committees and bureaus in Baoshan District, attended and participated in the groundbreaking ceremony.

The commencement of this project: Firstly, it signifies that Shanghai Guangchi's coating equipment production covers an area of 53300 square meters, allowing for greater manufacturing space and increased production capacity; Secondly, it marks the transition of Guangchi's product line from traditional optics to semiconductor optics, and the transition of optical components to semiconductor integrated optics, opening up new markets and fields; Thirdly, it signifies that Guangchi has become the first company to have investment entities in both the North and South districts after the merger of Baoshan High tech Industrial Park, and has become a model for Shanghai's northern transformation into a high-end manufacturing cluster.

We look forward to Guangchi Semiconductor planting the seeds of hope again in the northern land of Baoshan, Shanghai. Against the backdrop of the excellent business environment in Baoshan, we will embark on a new development journey in atomic layer coating and etching equipment, contributing to the economic integration and takeoff of the northern and southern regions of Baoshan.
